Vintage 1970’s Orange Thermos Brand Thermos for Hot & Cold Beverages
A great utilitarian, vintage find for the working person!
Easily transport your soup, hot coffee/tea/chocolate, or cold beverages in this very useful Thermos brand insulated thermos.
The Thermos company knew how to build a container so hot foods/drinks stayed hot with the glass liner in the earlier thermos containers they manufactured (but no longer with glass).
This Thermos has a unique system to keep foods/drinks cold and hot.
There is the orange, outer housing, an inner glass insulation liner, and a removable tan plastic liner into which you actually put the drink/food.
This screws into the top, and the thermos container maintains its temperature.
The removable liner allows for an easier clean-up, and as per Thermos’ directions should be used.
Food/drink does not go directly into the glass liner.
The screw-on orange lid also doubles as a cup.
The bright orange color speaks loud and clear of the 1070’s with a vibe all its own.
Measures 12 inches tall.
Hot/Cold Liner comfortably holds 20-22 fluid ounces (2-1/2 cups hot and 2-3/4 cold cups).
