Superb 18" Basket with UNIQUE Double Braided Rim

Spectacular Basket 18" x 3 1/2" in NM condition.  THIS HAS AN UNUSUAL TOP RIM THAT IS DOUBLE BRAIDED!  This is one solid basket that has been well preserved and conserved!  This was found in what is now called San Diego County.  IF YOU CAN HELP ID, PLEASE DO.
This is part of a larger Southern California fine art collection that has been intact for 45 years.  I have not cleaned most of these items and they certainly will appreciate the winning bidder doing so.
