A needlebook and floss gift set for the fall season featuring a little pumpkin embroidered with silk in golden autumn colors. Very nice for keeping your small handsewing notions intact while doing needlework or hand quilting! These make fun gifts for quilting and crafting friends.
This needlebook was hand embroidered with hand dyed silk floss in yellows and purples. The design was embroidered on a soft yellow lightly printed leaf pattern fabric, bordered with yellow dots and coordinating dots quilting fabric for the back. Fusible fleece was used for durability and the edges top stitched with a coordinating rayon sewing thread in golden yellow shades. On the inside there is a soft peach fabric for the lining and yellow floral fabrics for the pockets.
The needlebook comes with two skeins of hand dyed cotton floss: The Gentle Art Sampler flosses in Bittersweet and Gold Leaf
The needlebook measures 5" x 5" when closed. There are two pockets on both covers to put scissors, pins, beads, etc. There a piece of pretty copper felt fabric with scalloped edges to put needles and pins. The needlebook was made with care with quality materials.
